WEEK 36

Good Morning everyone! 

My week was pretty good. This week we got COVID tested, were in quarantine, and had some cool things happen!

To be honest, this was not one of my favorite weeks. BUT the Lord blessed us. As I mentioned last week, I was not feeling very well at all for a few days. Last Monday, I ended up getting tested for Covid and we were instructed to quarantine until we get our results. The Elders we live with were absolutely thrilled to be quarantined haha. Elder Clouse and I were frustrated. We had a week FULL of Facebook Finding and we ended up getting 116 Facebook Contacts this week haha. 

On Thursday we woke up to a text saying that our Covid Tests were negative!! It was so amazing. Elder Clouse and I were thrilled. That day, we went out Preaching By The Way (this is what our mission calls knocking) and it felt so good to be outside. 

During quarantine, we ended up getting bored and doing some fun stuff. It was really funny because one of the days I was not feeling very well and so I took a nap. I woke up and Elder Clouse was making a desk  he had been pounding in the nails for a few hours. I am a very heavy sleeper, and slept through it all ( no surprise there). Elder Clouse was practically bouncing off the walls all week. He loves to be active and is very motivated to do the work so it was pretty hard to be inside for him and I. 

We also played MASH one day and we matched all the members of our District with whatever their future careers and who they are going to marry and stuff it was pretty entertaining. Apparently, I am going to fall away from the church according to our game. Elder Clouse and I decided that we are very grateful to be missionaries during a time when we don't have to be inside all day. After just a few short days, we were getting very antsy.

We went to this guy's house this week to help him fix some stuff in his house. Now, my companion Elder Clouse has some stomach issues and when he has to go, he HAS to go if you know what I am saying. So, we were chatting with this guy and helping him fix a shelf when Elder Clouse asked if he could use his bathroom. Being his companion, I knew immediately what was going on. With our luck, as soon as Elder Clouse left the bathroom the guy was like "Alright this shelf is going in the bathroom." Elder Clouse gave me a horrified look but we went into the bathroom. All I have to say was, it was pretty entertaining to try and hold back laughs because my companion dropped a BOMB in there and we had to put the shelf in the bathroom  It was a funny moment 

Other than that, there wasn't much else that happened this week. Elder Clouse and I are excited for the new week to start to have a fresh start. That is what this life is all about! Constantly trying to improve. This next week will be miracle filled, I can feel it.
