WEEK 19 Interviews and Facebook Finding
Good Morning everyone! I hope my email does not wake you up but I have started doing all my emails bright and early haha. Let me tell you about my week!
Well to start off we had interviews this week in Midland (a really nice area about 30 minutes from Bay City). My Mission President is so great and it was so great to talk to him in-person. Next time I am going to snag a picture with him. Neither my companion nor I know of can even guess what is going to happen next transfer. But honestly, I wouldn't mind staying with Elder Kofford! He's a great guy and we get lots of work done here in this blessed city!
This week we had a lot of lessons fall through so we did LOTS of Facebook finding. I set a personal record of 49 Facebook contacts in a week! You guys likely don't know much about Facebook finding or how it works haha. But basically, you message random people on Facebook and try to have conversations with them and set up lessons. If they respond back to you, it is a contact. The most I have ever gotten in a week was like 20 so this week I was so hyped!
This week we had some lessons with this really cool guy in our ward who is literally probably the best "member missionary" I have ever met in my life. He comes to every lesson with us and drives our investigators around. Just a solid guy! I will add a picture below with him and a recent convert who joined our lesson with the people we are baptizing soon!
We are baptizing Alan this Saturday! I am so excited!! Stay tuned for that!
I want to tell y'all about a cool miracle. I can't remember if I wrote about this already or not butttt here it goes. A few weeks ago my companion and I were going to a lesson. There are two elevators in that complex and one of them wasn't working. My companion had the thought, "I bet we will see Patrick today". Patrick is a guy that was supposed to be baptized when I got to Bay City 4 weeks ago but we hadn't been able to get on contact with him. And what do ya' know. As we were riding the elevator down PATRICK IS IN THR ELEVATOR. So we set up a time to meet with him and he will set a date to be baptized probably next week. It was a miracle! We were able to meet with him this week and he was like "I can't believe I saw you guys on the elevator that day. There is no way that was a coincidence". We were like yeahhhh no it wasn't man haha!
Funny moment this week:
Our zone leaders put up a fun video for our zone to see. It is for a competition our zone is having this month and so my companion and I made a "reaction video". I was going to put it in this email butttt it probably won't make sense to you since you can't see the original video
. But we were being dramatic and falling and getting super hyped over this competition and our whole zone thought our video was hilarious. And, it was! They were right.

Our mission changed the missionary purpose statement this week to one that includes the Christlike attribute charity. I have been thinking a lot about Charity lately, and how I can improve charity. I read an article in the Church magazine "The Ensign" this week that really touched me. I will add the link below. Read the article! I dare you.
I love you all. Have a good week!

Our Bishop's kids have SO MANY LEGOS so I had to snag a picture
The amazing member named Jefferson and Jerry who came to our lesson! (Jefferson would be the one wearing the fashionable hat)
Pics with some recent converts Leslie and Albert who gave me a fun card made of homemade paper! (I didn't know that was a thing)
