Week 21

WEEK 21

It was another great week here in Michigan! Let me tell you the highlights!

We got Transfer Calls a few days ago. Elder Kofford and I are staying here in Bay City for another six weeks. One of the elders in our District went home early so we are currently in a trio until we pick up the new guy tomorrow. From now on, we are all going to be staying in the same apartment. Right now, our apartment is like falling apart haha, Everyday something new breaks so we are really excited to move into the new one soon. We are getting a newly refurbished 2 bedroom apartment so that will be sweet. 

This week, we got a text from our friend Alan who was just baptized and he said that his Mom is ready to be baptized now! We were like whatttt we were so excited. So she is going to be baptized on July 10th. Wahoo! We have several people that are looking like we will be able to baptize them soon this transfer. I am guessing we will baptize about three people which is so great! Alan's baptism was so incredible. It has been so interesting to watch the physical changes in his demeaner. He looks so happy! We are so excited for Alan. 

This week was pretty crazy as far as the weather goes. It was pouring rain all week and it was insane. We went to our friend Margie's house and helped her out with her lawn. While we there, it started pouring buckets on us and it was so fun. 

There is lots that goes on every week it is hard to remember it all and write about it. But, it was a pretty solid week here in Bay City and I am psyched for next transfer!

Funny Moment from this week: 

When we went to our friend's house to do service, my companion started to clean out this lady's shed for her. As he opened it, he realized there was a wasp nest inside. I wasn't paying attention and I looked over and he was battling these wasps. He killed like 8 of them it was pretty funny. I just thought it was hilarious to see him swinging his shovel all over place and smacking the wasps haha. He got one out of the air!
